Breaking: Protest In Ogun Over Traditional Marginalization

The Natives of Awori Land went out in numbers today to protest against the traditional marginalization happening in their region... This is really a bold movement as it has always been known that the Awori's are traditionally under the Egba traditional council.

Some of the placards held by protesters read ' We are not Egbas neither Yewa Historically, Culturally and Practically. We are totally different'. ' Aworis are socially, politically and economically sufficient to have her own traditional council. The time is Now' and 'Put a stop to Traditional Marginalization' among others.

The protesters could be seen wearing White which depicts their goddess 'IJAMIDO'
